Tribeca Automotive is a leader in the auto transportation industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented Claims Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position supports the Claims Department by analyzing, adjusting, and resolving auto damage claims.

Duties
- Receives, reviews and acknowledges cargo claims damage notifications and FNOL in a timely manner.
- Actively corresponds with customers, TPAs, and repair facilities providing updates and requesting information to resolve claims in a timely manner.
- Creates and maintains auto cargo damage claims files including all documentation related to the claim.
- Requests claims documentation from dealers, customers, claimants, and insureds.
- Investigates validity, coverage and liability of claims and communicates findings to claimants, partners, and insureds.
- Reviews all claim documentation related to repair of auto cargo damage including invoices and auto body repair estimates and supplements for accuracy.
- Completes and documents coverage and liability investigations including insured, claimant, and third-party interviews as needed.
- Maintains active claims diary and accurately notates the claim file throughout the life of the claim ensuring timely and accurate disposition of the claim within authority level and creates referrals for review above authority level.
- Manages a large inventory of auto cargo claims from start to finish including subrogation of claim within set authority level including negotiation and settlement of auto damage claims with dealerships, customers, body shops, and other third-party vendors.
- Handles non-complex auto liability claims as needed and refer claims to insurance in a timely manner.
- Compares repair times, operations, parts prices and procedures to CCC databases for accuracy.
- Assists in preparing reports for monthly review of auto damage claims and trends.
Qualifications
- Excels in fast paced everchanging work environment.
- Strong communication, people, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent time-management skills
- Proven experience in auto estimating or automotive repair is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair techniques and processes.
- Familiarity with service writing and automotive service management practices.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is strongly preferred.
- Proficient in using computer software for claims processing and documentation.
